The Nike AJ Griffey Max 1 Los Angeles is a West Coast inspired colorway of Ken Griffey Jr.s former signature shoe that honors the Los Angeles Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers. Inspired by Californias top sports teams, the Los Angeles AJ Griffey Max 1 features a black synthetic nubuck overlay with a neoprene bootie sleeve. The team colors of the Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers are found around the sides of the shoe. Purple embroidered Swoosh logos appear on the toe and heel. Griffeys former 24 jersey number with the Seattle Mariners baseball team appears in purple on the side of the adjustable strap on the collar.
