The Nike AJ Max 1 86 Big Bubble – Red is a special release from Nikes AJ Max Day 2023 collection that brings back the styling of the classic running shoe that debuted in 1986. Based on the original AJ Max 1 construction, the AJ Max 1 86 Big Bubble features a bigger visible Max AJ cushioning bubble in the heel of the foam midsole, a design that is consistent with the OG release. Also like the original AJ Max 1, this iteration features a white mesh base with light grey synthetic overlays. The shoes University Red mudguard and Swoosh are also inspired by the original AJ Max 1.
